36 Position : Supply Chain
Support Analyst
36.1 Roles and Responsibilities
The main activities of the Supply Chain Support Analyst are
to monitor calls, analyze and resolve problems and test and implement solutions
including communication with a wide number of customers, partners and suppliers
as follows:
Monitor
· Monitor Interfaces and troubleshoot issues
· Monitor scheduled request and troubleshoot issues
· Monitor calls in queue and progress and prioritize as
necessary to meet Service Level Agreements
· Follow SLA communication and escalation procedures
Analyze and Resolve
· Liaise with Super-user and/or local Support team, if
required, to ensure accurate problem definition
· Analyze and evaluate problem types such as functional,
technical, enhancement, configuration, RICE, Oracle bug or data issue.
· Reassign calls if required and provide the initial
analysis to the receiving group.
· Use Metalink to investigate issues and review bugs and
patches as required.
· Provide functional input on proposed setup changes such as
Module Configurations, Profile Options, Menus, Responsibilities and Request
Groups.
· Create SR’s as required for Oracle Bugs within the modules
being covered and monitor the SR’s and pro-vide updates as required.
Test and Implement
· Test solutions in relevant test environments and in
Pre-Production prior to the user testing.
· Explain solution to Local IS/Super users and provide a
test script which they can use to validate and con-firm changes in
Pre-Production.
· Create Configuration change requests as required
· Propose Changes to the Concurrent request schedules
Communicate
· Liaise with Super-user, Support team, other functional and
technical support teams and external vendors (Oracle) throughout the process
from problem definition to resolution and implementation in Production.
· Manage interactions, record progress and document detailed
resolution details in the Supportworks system.
Travel requirements
· Based in SGTC, travel to Stryker EMEA sites required

Competencies
• At least 3 years experience in
an Oracle ERP support environment.
• Previous experience working
with Oracle –Business Suite working on a off-shore support environment
• Previous experience of
Oracle e-Business Suite on the following modules: Inventory, Planning, WIP,
Order Management, Purchasing.
• Knowledge of any of the
following Oracle Technical Service modules would be an advantage: Warehouse
Management, Depot Repair, Field Service, Install Base, Service Contracts.
• Ability to configure the
Oracle modules being supported and perform Sysadmin functions such as Menus,
Responsibilities, Concurrent requests and Request Groups
• Previous experience on Workflow
support
• Good understanding of the
Oracle database table structure and SQL query tool like TOAD
• Knowledge and experience of
Supportworks would be an advantage
• Additional technical skills
such as PL/SQL, Developer, Reports, Forms etc. would also be an advantage.
